1. What type of ink do Inké systems use?
Inké systems use pigmented ink for optimal print quality.
2. What is the best storage condition for Inké ink?
For best storage condition, store within 15°C - 40°C. Refer to the User Guide for more information.
3. How do I know when the cartridge is full after refilling with the Inké system?
When the Start button turns orange after refilling, it means that your cartridge has been successfully refilled. Refer to the User Guide for more information.
4. Is Inké ink quality comparable to OEM ink?
Definitely! Ink quality makes a tremendous contribution to the quality of the print-out. Inferior ink may damage your printhead nozzles by clogging them, as their parameters, such as the drying time, density, viscosity, surface tension, and pH value, may differ greatly from the original ink's parameters.
Inké ink is tested under rigorous conditions to ensure the optimal quality compatible to that of the OEMs'. Formulation of the Inké ink underwent strict laboratory conditions to ensure that your print-outs are as good as if they were printed with the OEMs' ink.
As a matter of interest, it took us more than two years to arrive at the right formula for our ink.
5. How long is the shelf life of the Inké ink?
The shelf life of the ink is two years. If the ink tank is kept at normal room temperature and not subjected to direct sunlight, it will maintain its quality throughout that time.
6. Is refilling with the Inké system easy? How long does it take?
Inké refilling is mess-free, stress-free and easy to use. Inké comes with a step-by-step User Guide. Just drop in an Inké ink tank and your original cartridge, press the Start button, and the system does the rest. It takes only 2-3 minutes to refill with Inké.
7. Will the Inké refilling process spoil my cartridge?
No. Inké guarantees that your refilled cartridge will perform as well as the OEMs' supplies under similar conditions.
8. Are Inké refills as good as the original cartridges?
Inké systems are developed after extensive research and development to give you the absolute assurance of use. Your refilled cartridges are comparable to originals within specified limits.
9. What are the blue ink tanks that come with the Inké system?
The blue ink tanks are protective tanks. These come with the system to facilitate the purging of any excess ink in the system before storing the system for later use.
The protective tanks are designed for refilling 6 cartridges a year so as to allow the purged ink to evaporate in them. If you use the system continuously to refill more often, such as 7 - 8 times a week, the protective tanks will overflow. Hence, frequent users are required to obtain new protective tanks.
10. My ink tank still has ink in it after it has been used. Can I reuse it?
No, you should not reuse your used ink tank even if it still has ink inside. The Inké ink tanks are meant for single-use only. Reusing old ink tanks may damage the system.
11. Why Inké and not manual refilling kits?
Manual refilling is messy, complex and at times dangerous due to the use of injection needles and drill tools. With the Inké systems, refilling is economical, easy to use and environmentally friendly.
