- Why does ink leak from nozzles after refilling?
1. What should I do when the printouts have white streaks or show areas with no ink?
Clean your cartridge's printhead. Consult your printer manual for more information.
If this does not work, remove your cartridge from the printer and carry out the Pressure Balance (for HS-45 systems) or Purging (for HS-29, LX-50 and LX-70 systems) Procedure, as indicated in the Inké User Guide.
2. Why doesn't my cartridge print after refilling?
Refer to Question 1 above.
3. Why is the image/text blurred/smudged?
Some of the nozzles may be clogged. You need to clean your cartridge printhead. Refer to Question 1 above.
4. Why does ink leak from nozzles after refilling?
The pressure in the cartridge may not have been fully balanced due to air trapped inside. This could be due to the deteriorated condition of the printhead nozzles or the cartridge itself. Carry out the Pressure Balance (for HS-45 systems) or Purging (for HS-29, LX-50 and LX-70 systems) Procedure as stated in the Inké User Guide to remove the excess air.
